about us.

Improving Healthcare Access, One Payment at a Time

A successful balance of healthcare and payment is possible. No patient should avoid care or risk bankruptcy from healthcare costs. No health system or provider should go uncompensated for the world-class care they deliver. AccessOne supports the physical well-being of patients and the financial well-being of healthcare systems. We make collecting payments a breeze by focusing on empathetic patient terms, automation, digitization, and intuitive patient communication channels.

What Motivates Us

We’re making affordable healthcare a reality for all, by removing affordability barriers for patients and improving collection rates for providers through an innovative mobile-first payment platform. You can be a part of the solution, too.

Caring is Our Identity

Patients are at the center of everything we do. In partnership with healthcare providers, we believe that expert care doesn’t begin and end in the exam room. Let “do no harm” extend from care to payment. With AccessOne, all patients are accepted into our program with 0% interest options available. Everyone receives the same terms no matter their credit score, and we do not credit report. We do not offer promotional periods or apply retroactive interest on our programs. Our mission to do no harm provides flexible and sustainable payment options that patients can choose based on their family and financial situations.

Mark Spinner joined AccessOne as its chief executive officer in March 2016. In partnership with founder Dr. Rusty Salton, Mark set the strategy and execution framework to build AccessOne into the national leader in technology-enabled patient financing services. Building on a unique core product and proprietary software, AccessOne began to grow its executive team and capability set to scale nationally. Since then, AccessOne has achieved significant growth in consumer account holders, client contracts and revenue while decreasing client concentration and growing margins. AccessOne’s capital base has also grown significantly to enable this scale and support continued growth. In January 2020, AccessOne was named the KLAS Category Leader in Patient Financial Services by industry leading independent research organization KLAS Research. AccessOne continues to build on its momentum through the strength of its team, products and technology.

Mark’s background holds a unique combination of entrepreneurial executive & finance experience in private and public capital markets, as well as credit and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to AccessOne, Mark was the chief executive officer and founder of ProviderWeb Capital, a technology-enabled specialty finance company offering financing products integrated with healthcare e-payment technology platforms. Prior to this, Mark spent 12 years in private equity, corporate finance and mergers & acquisition advisory with Stephens, Deutsche Bank Alex Brown and RBC Capital Markets.
